Welcome to Eva and Sten Löfman Storytelling & Music
We have had professional careers within the area of tales and stories, myths, music and education since the mid 80s. Eva is a singer and a storyteller, Sten is a musician and a composer. We have a tangible love for ancient folksongs, rhymes and fairy tales.
To achieve our magical atmosphere, we use old instruments such as a shepherd's flute, drums from around the world, singing bowls and bells, ocean drum, rainstick, windflute and synthesizer. The music ranges from the magical and spiritual to the rhythmic and comical. We tell folktales and myths from all over the world and in particular from the Nordic cultural tradition, which we can call our own. We took part in the 2002 storytelling festival in Ljungby and in the 2003 Graz Tales in Austria.
We tour with our performances as well as participate in conferences, symposiums and other educational events. We have also appeared on Swedish Television and Radio Networks on several occasions.
We have released eight CD/MCs.
